Assessing Learning to Promote Learning (Winter 2012)

Think of a time in your school career when you felt you were graded unfairly; and a time when a teacher reached out to you to help you get a better grade than you might otherwise have earned.  How did each of these experiences affect your inner motivation?  Your zest for learning?  Your desire to achieve at a higher level?
