Cancellation and Refund Policy

Unless other tuition agreements have been made, tuition for the Masters Degree Programs will be billed as described in the Contract that the Candidate signs with UVEI, according to the following schedule:

1. Initial tuition payment of $2,000 is due on or before the start of the Summer or Winter Seminar Schedule.

2. Mid-year payment of $2,000 is due on or before October 15 for Summer enrollees, or March 15 for Winter enrollees.

3. Final payment of $2,000 is due by April 1 for Summer enrollees and by October 1 for Winter enrollees.

Note: Candidates whose tuition is being paid, in whole or in part, by their school districts will present a payment plan, signed by a school district administrator that outlines dates when payments will be made. No transcripts or diplomas will be issued until all tuition accounts are paid in full. All Candidates are required to sign the Contract acknowledging the payment schedule herein outlined and acknowledging of UVEI's Tuition Refund Policy. If a Candidate chooses to withdraw from the program, or if underlying circumstances arise including but not limited to discipline or personnel issues that may arise with the school district, UVEI retains the right to dismiss a Candidate from the Program with appropriate refund of tuition as stipulated under the terms of this document.

Payments by Candidate can be made by cash, personal check or bank check.

BUYER’S RIGHT TO CANCEL STATEMENT: A Candidate has the right to withdraw from the program and cancel this agreement from the date of acceptance at UVEI through the second week in July or January, depending on whether the program begins in July or January, with no further financial obligation to UVEI. If a Candidate withdraws for any reason after this initial period, the refund policy is as follows: UVEI considers its Summer or Winter Seminars as the official start of the program. If an applicant never attends the respective Seminar Series or cancels prior to the start of the second Seminar, all refunds will be paid within 45 calendar days of the first schedule Seminar or the date of cancellation, whichever is earlier. If an applicant accepted by UVEI cancels prior to the start of the Seminar Series, UVEI will refund all tuition monies paid.

If UVEI cancels a program subsequent to a Candidate’s enrollment, UVEI will refund all monies paid by the student.

The Candidate understands that official program and graduation documentation will not be released until all library books are returned, written work is complete, and the Candidate’s financial account is paid in full.

EMPLOYMENT GUARANTEE DISCLAIMER: It is understood by the Candidate that UVEI does not maintain a Job Placement Office or Placement Officer. UVEI staff endeavor to make themselves available to assist Candidates in their pursuit of job placement, such as by initiating or responding to contacts with school officials, or alerting Candidates of positions that become known to us. UVEI does not guarantee employment of its graduates upon or after receipt of certification.
