NOTE: The Praxis exams (for all endorsement areas) and the Foundations of Reading exam (for elementary grades candidates) are also required for program completion and licensure, costs vary depending on endorsement areas and number of endorsements, but are typically between $120-160 per endorsement area for the Praxis exams and $155 for the Foundations of Reading exam.

Financial Aid

UVEI offers its own Byrne Scholarships to qualified interns. Funding sources also include federal Title IV funds (Stafford Loans and Pell Grants) and local, state, and national scholarship programs.

The financial aid process begins with the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). We recommend applying online at the FAFSA web site, www.fafsa.ed.gov. Be sure to list UVEI's school code, 034373, in the appropriate space on the application. After your application has been processed, UVEI will receive the Student Aid Report and will work with you to put together an aid package, making every effort to make UVEI financially feasible for you.

P.E.O. Support for Women Interns

The PEO Program for Continuing Education provides education loans and grants to eligible women enrolled at UVEI.  More information about PEO can be found here.
