Jill Koppers, MEd
Jill Koppers, MEd, is an adjunct faculty member for UVEI’s Teacher Internship Program. Jill is a recent graduate of UVGSE’s MEd in Teacher Leadership program where she contributed to the research and written documentation of the Barnes Initiative for Collaborative Learning on Increasing the Leadership Capacity of Early Childhood Center Directors. She has been in the field of education since 1999 after completing UVEI’s Teacher Internship Program (then called the Upper Valley Teacher Training Program). Through her career she has taught grades four, five and six, instructed at the collegiate level in New Hampshire and currently holds a position as an early childhood special educator and practice based coach in Vermont. Her educational outreach also includes instruction through Vermont Humanities Council, CraftStudies of Hanover, New Hampshire, and with the Vermont Association for the Education of Young People.
When not directly teaching and learning, Jill can be found spinning pots in her home studio, kayaking on the Upper Valley’s various beautiful waterways, alpine skiing, and enjoying moments with her children ages 17 and 20.
