UVEI offers a licensure program and an MEd degree in teaching to help new and practicing educators be the great teachers that our kids and schools need.Our internship program prepares people to have exceptional teaching careers through a hands-on licensure program in just 10 months.
Experiential Learning
UVEI Teaching Programs place a high priority on experiential learning, use competency-based assessments, replacing traditional grades with evidence based descriptions of teaching competency, connect research-based theory with actual classroom practice, provide opportunities to collaborate with colleagues, and provide personalized guidance and coaching from experienced faculty.
