What will teachers, students and administrators be needing, thinking, wondering in the days after the November elections?  How can school leaders and educators build sturdy containers for potentially challenging discourse – in our meetings, classrooms, and other spaces?  With these questions in mind, you are invited to join fellow practitioners in the UVEI network and beyond for an online gathering on Tuesday, November 12, 4:30 – 6:00 PM.  We will provide time and facilitation for large and small group discussion, networking and the sharing of resources that help you and others meet the diverse needs of your school communities related to climate, culture and instruction this November and beyond.

Tuesday, November 12, 4:30-6:00 pm

This gathering will be hosted by UVEI Faculty members Monica Nachemja-Bunton and Elijah Hawkes.  We are modeling this gathering on several successful convenings in recent years on topics related to the intersection of politics and schooling, such as our Strong Schools in Polarized Times dialogue series, and our 23-24 convenings on Climate and Race/Class and Elections.
