Tuition and Fees
2023-2024:
Teacher Internship Program (licensure only): $17,180 for 24 credits.
MEd Degree in Teaching for licensure candidates/alums: $7,512 for 12 credits
MEd Degree in Teaching for other practicing educators: $10,032 for 36 credits
Tuition may vary depending on individual circumstances and pathways chosen.
Additional fees include

- $75 nonrefundable enrollment fee, MEd degree pathways
Other costs associated with program participation include, but are not limited to,

For the licensure pathway, depending upon the candidate’s background and what endorsement(s) the candidate seeks to earn, additional coursework, or its equivalent, at another institution may be required.
Scholarship Opportunities
Teacher Preparation Pathway Scholarships
This scholarship is intended for those who completed majors, minors, or signification graduate study in education, including supervised fieldwork, from a regionally accredited college or university. Significant study in the area of endorsement also required. Recipients may be awarded up to $3,990.
Mission Impact Byrne Scholarships
The Mission Impact Scholarship is intended to attract and reward candidates who will have an extra mission impact based on the UVEI admissions standards. This scholarship is for exceptional candidates who demonstrate prior experience in education, extraordinary academic readiness, life and career experience, a long-term commitment to serving high need students (especially in the New Hampshire and Vermont region), and the dispositions of highly effective teachers. Recipients may be awarded up to $5,000

Financial Aid for Licensure Program
Every effort is made to make UVEI financially feasible. For 24-credit Teacher Internship Program, UVEI offers several sources of financial assistance, including Pell grants, Stafford loans, private loans, and need-based Byrne Scholarships. Financial assistance is awarded based on a financial needs assessment and fund availability. Contact UVEI for details about the financial aid process.
The financial aid process begins with the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). We recommend applying online at the FAFSA website, Be sure to list UVEI’s school code, 034373, in the appropriate space on the application. After your application has been processed, UVEI will receive the Student Aid Report and will work with each intern to help make UVEI program financially feasible.
