School Leadership Licensure

UVEI is approved by the states of New Hampshire and Vermont to recommend Principal Internship Program and Curriculum & Assessment Specialization completers for licensure in relevant endorsement areas listed here. Each endorsement also has specific experiential and degree requirements which are noted here. UVEI’s MEd in School Leadership option meets the masters degree requirements for the endorsements in both states.

• Principal Instructional Leader (New Hampshire) – requires masters degree in education with an instructional or school leadership focus, 5 years experience as an educator
• Principal, PreK-12 (Vermont) – requires masters degree and 3 years of licensed preK-12 teaching experience
• Curriculum Administrator (New Hampshire, C&A completers only) – requires masters degree in education with an instructional or curriculum & assessment focus, 5 years experience as a classroom teacher
• Director of Curriculum (Vermont, C&A completers only) – requires masters degree and 3 years of licensed preK-12 teaching experience
